About New Beginnings Child Development Center
Martha M Flores is the owner and founder of New Beginnings Child Development Center. She was born and raised in the small town of Eagle Lake, Texas. She has five children and eighteen grandchildren. In August of 1997, she put her vision and dreams into action and opened New Beginnings Child Development Center in Eagle Lake Texas. With her faith, hard work, and spirit of gratitude, her business has flourished and has been serving Colorado County for 25 years. By the Grace of God and her strong faith in his plan, she has opened a second facility in Elgin, TX. New Beginnings Elgin location has been serving Bastrop and Travis County since September 2019. She has been so blessed to be welcomed to the Elgin community with open arms and she plans to bring her love and passion to the children and families of Elgin for many years to come.

New Beginnings is a family owned and operated Child Development Center. We are a faith based center that places GOD at the foundation of the business. NBCDC is not your average childcare facility; we not only care for children, we aid in the development of young minds. Our amazing staff complete extensive training, and are passionate about teaching children through play. New Beginnings Child Development Center holds an accreditation with Texas Rising Star and currently holds a FOUR STAR rating. NBCDC utilizes Teaching Strategies Gold and Pinnacle Faith Based Curriculum to individualize lesson plans for each child in our care. NBCDC also implements Conscious Discipline which creates stronger communication within families, gives children a voice, and empowers them with the ability to achieve behavioral goals.
